Safety of life at sea is the most important element. If panic occurs during any danger, PAN PAN or MAYDAY announcements may not be made properly. In this module, you can make both announcements by reading them with your real location information from your phone. Additionally, you can send both SMS and WhatsApp messages with a single click using the SOS buttons. To do this, simply enter the phone numbers of your emergency contacts in +905xxxxxxxxx format from the settings page. The SMS is sent to all three phones at once, while the WhatsApp message is sent only to the 1st phone.
📍 Boat Tracking System (!)
Set up your own professional boat tracking system without any additional hardware costs with a second smartphone you hide in your boat and a second OrSoft Mariner PRO you purchase on it!
How does it work? Valid only for Gmail accounts, create a new registration by adding "+BoatName" to your email address (e.g., captain+poyraz@gmail.com). If you do not use Gmail, it is sufficient to register with a different e-mail address and put a "+" sign immediately after the boat name during the initial setup (e.g., Poyraz+).
Select your own phone as "Master" from the settings. Select the phone that will stay on your boat as "Slave" from the settings. When selected as Slave, enter the e-mail address you registered with on your own phone in the field that appears right below it. Our system will automatically pair both phones.
The OrSoft Smart Radar Engine prevents two separate signals from being emitted to the same boat! Only the location of the phone ending with "+" (the one hidden in the boat) is taken into account on the map and radar screens. Thus, you can seamlessly track where your boat is live, even when you are on land.
